Pirates Cove is right by the sea . So I specialise in plants and trees for this environment – strong southwesterly salt laden winds.
Living and growing as a symbiotic unit...
....naturalistic landscaping.
Over at our developement plot in Pirates Cove the naturalistic wildlife ponds will be lined with puddle - the natural clay waterproof lining used by the canal engineers in the 1700s.
Also hoping to experiment with converting reclaimed well seasoned timber into spars and framework for traditional and modern cold frames and glass houses. The harsh environment of Pirates Cove will be our testing ground.
etc.
Pirates Cove
Gnarly, windswept trees in really nice pots look great on any terrace or patio area.
I really like the old gold or gilded carved wooden
letters you see on pubs
and book shops for example so would really like to get some
reclaimed gold carved letters together
and then grow ivy - Hedera helix - over them
