Lately I've become facinated by the tassled wobbegong:

Eucrossorhinus dasypogon

hence the name with spelling alteration for simplicity etc.

There's a lot to be said for keeping things simple but one can't ignore the fact that chaos often leads to great ideas.

Regarding the pad at number 10 - I haven't looked into it but if Lulu Lytle employs the use of skilled craftspeople to produce her items then one has to consider the benefit of that over a cheaper imported option from a chainstore or such like.

What with Portland stone be so local I feel I should go in the direction of sculpting. Although Portland limestone will be the main thing - to be restricted to one thing would not suit me at all so other materials and tecniques will be used most of the time. In the studio there is what I was told local stone but it is not as large I would like - but none the less will be used. My key inspiration I would say comes from Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore but as I look into the subject more I don't doubt there many others.
